Looking at the body cam footage, I see a situation that was completely under control until the third officer walked up and intervened.

The driver appears completely compliant until the third officer physically intervenes. At which point the driver attempts and succeeds in breaking free of the original officer.

Didn’t quite see it that way. Before the female officer tries to grab him the arresting officer is already having trouble getting the cuffs on and Daunte tenses and moves toward the drivers door at which point the first officers stops trying to cuff him and moves his body around to half block him from moving and gives him a verbal warning he says “Don’t…don’t do it, don’t do it” That happens before the other officer tries to grab his arm.
