They want Obama to fail, and apparently not only fail at policy changes they don’t like, but fail at everything. I’m not sure how clearly they’ve thought through the fact that this means they will have to root for the United States to absolutely suck for a minimum of four years, and have nothing go well for it. This is known, in some circles, as ‘cutting off your nose to spite the President’.
