Well, I was asked to do a book on notable pundits who damage the understanding of the citizenry by way of incompetence and intellectual dishonesty, and found that Krauthammer fits the bill. Insomuch as that I had more material than could fit even in a long chapter, I decided to write an article on him as well. It’s not a vendetta in the sense that I have something personal against him; I just happen to be a writer who’s been looking into the question of whether or not those who have been granted a large degree of influence are using that influence in a way that actually assists the public in coming to life-and-death decisions.
