Well. according to the US Constitution, the president is requited to

“take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed”

& I will call this president out, and yes, previous presidents too, on not enforcing the immigration laws.

You can see the bad results that flow from that.

If there were no fences on the border at all, if there were no border control agents along the border, and if the president had ordered the DOJ to not arrest and deport anyone, then I’d say you’d have a much stronger point. But is any of that true? There’s a big difference between “not enforcing” and “trying to enforce but unable to fully stop a big problem”.
