Oh, I easily agree with that. HOnestly, my big problem is when groups like those I mentioned use the fact that some Nazis like Ernst Rohm were gay and use it as a reason that we should be intolerant to gays. Using that logic we should persecute Catholics and Lutherans because many Nazis were that too. Of course the real infuriating thing about doing that to me is it misses the lessons of regimes like the Nazis which is not to persecute people simply because they’re different. I get real offended when I see gay rights activists compared to the Nazis. It’s outrageous considering these people simply want the same rights as I do.

And the dishonesty of using Nazis like Rohm is severe, since “The Pink Swastika” associates homosexuality with the Holocaust, when in fact the homosexual members of the Nazi SA had been purged and killed in 1935. The book is utter bunk and relies on the historical ignorance of its readers for its effect.
