My favorite request, back when I did such things:

“Can you make it really small and neat, but make the GRAPHICS really big and imposing?”

Still have no idea what he meant. He used some hand gestures too.

Also:

“Can you make each letter in a different font? You know, to show we’re evolving?”

Long ago at the dawn of time, blackletter fonts dragged themselves out of the primordial ooze and began to evolve.
