I’m not calling this a Romney win - at least not before we see the fallout tomorrow. Romney was certainly more aggressive and appeared slicker in his presentation. Obama flatter and measured, as usual. He did ramble a couple of times. He did answer a couple of the biggest lies the best he could. Then Romney repeated those lies a few more times along with a few more in a string -
the Gish Gallop is a perfect description. No way Obama could answer them all and he can’t just keep repeating corrections without looking whiny.

Obama is gifted at looking at the long game. I’m sure he’s not happy tonight but I don’t think he was damaged at all by this one debate. Factcheckers are already streaming and not in Mitt’s favor. Big Bird is trending. Heh. Mitt wasn’t liked going into the debate and I doubt he is any better liked now. Dem ads that come out in the next few days will be merciless.
