We’re going to need turnout in 2018. Fortunately, I think the odds are in our favor even though the Senate math is against us.

We’ll have to see. If the recent outrage as expressed in protests, and the elections in Conn. and Del. are an indication of future performance, then maybe so.

The GOP not delivering on its promises (or screwing them up) might not swing a bunch of conservatives our way, but it might cause enough of them to not turn out to vote in places where elections could be close.

That said, conservatives have a long tradition of stoking fears to get their voters to the polls.
