You can’t disagree that he was a very important senator. And a real workhorse once he shed the presidential ambition and the other baggage.
I didn’t agree with much of anything he worked for, but he worked hard, and he was sincere. Sincerely wrong, IMO, but still, heartfelt, and evidently a great friend without respect to politics. His name is associated with over three hundred pieces of legislation, and that has got to be some kind of record, or near it.

Charles Krauthammer gave Kennedy nice accolades though he said Kennedy went too far beyond remedies and into reverse affirmative action, Borking, etc.
