American Library Association Panelists Refuse to Appear with Robert Spencer

Be all that as it may, and notwithstanding feuds, it is disheartening when debates ostensibly to show different views preemptively close off a differing view. Unless you believe that Spencer is an extremist or a Nazi - in which case the panelists had every right to withdraw (at any time, whether or not they knew in advance of his inclusion - cf. Spencer’s withdrawal from the pK conference before or after alleged acceptance ). We do not actually know what Spenser would have said on “Beyond Stereotyping”, but I would have liked to hear it - rather more that any CAIR -approved message.
