Torture? No one was accused of that. From the snippet I posted:

But still, America shouldn’t be mistreating prisoners.

There’s an obvious reason for this.

If we mistreat prisoners people will be less inclined to surrender to us.

I won’t make any calls on guilt or innocence at the moment but I can’t help but see the trial itself as a good thing because it shows that we’re working to self police ourselves, having the watchmen watch each other if you will.

Or on the other side we could be blowing however much money the trial costs based on a bunch of lies…..
