I understand that. I was trying to make a point that there are differing kinds of crimes that stack the deck against certain groups. We don’t weight non-violent white collar crimes, even if they are theft, the same way we do common theft that may have violence associated with it. The type of crime is determined by social and economic position, not by arbitrary differences in groups of people.
