I’ve only watched Good Eats a few times, but Alton Brown is an awesome educator. I’m a big fan of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives (Guy seems to have a predilection for stopping in at the Twin Cities), and the new competitive dessert series Sweet Genius is awesome if only for Ron Ben-Israel’s quirky personality.

He looks like a Bond super-villain.

“Now Mr Bond - we will dip you in the vat of liquid chocolate, roll you in ground nuts, and then feed you into the giant slicer… bwahahahaha.
And add some spiced jellyfish as a surprise ingredient!”
