re: #427 No Depression

When this election is done, I won’t be able to look at most of my fellow whites (especially the men) quite the same way. I’ll always be wondering about the darkness that might dwell in their hearts.

Well, as an African-American woman in a predominantly white field who has to get along with a co-worker who has blatant anti-Obama signs all over his desk (he’s always helpful, though), you learn to live with the permanent inner side-eye. I have it for pretty much any white person that I’m not sure is a Democrat, and a real one at that.
