I don’t think that constitutes ‘Nanny State’ - I’d call it what it is. Theft. I saved that money. It’s in an account under my name. It’s no different than if they took the money in your savings account, checking account, the change in the coffee can on your kitchen counter or your kid’s piggy bank.
