It’s also bullshit to claim hardship. It’s easy enough for them to take down what they asked them to take down. Those are the rules. Instead of spending 250,000 dollars in legal fees they could have spent that money for their own enjoyment or towards a charity. It’s not about ambiance it’s about the ecology, erosion, and the vegetation. It’s also about setting a poor precedent. They could easily bring down a folding table from their multi-million dollar home.

no basketball backboards allowed!…that sort of thing…it’s about the rule, not erosion…when someone does not conform, then it’s all about the planet, or save the children or whatever…it’s okay if people want to live like that, I think it’s absurd…no backyard shower is going to erode the shoreline
