I don’t have any particular faith in O’keefe. I do know what I saw and heard from an ACORN worker’s own lips as she explained how to hide the fact that a prostitution ring would be operating out of one of the houses for which she was going to help O’K obtain a mortgage. (“Don’t say ’ prostitute’… say ’ performance art’.)”
If every accusation was false, I suppose the indictments against ACORN workers in various states will be rescinded, and instead of folding like a cheap suit as it did , the organization will rise again, redeemed. When that happens, I’ll agree that they were wronged.

Please watch the Maddow piece, and consider that you have been lied to. Look again at what the woman says, not what you’re being told she’s saying. They clearly told a number of workers not that they were operating a prostitution ring, but that Giles was a prostitute, and was having trouble getting housing because of that, which IS something ACORN is supposed to help with. Check that piece, and see if the woman actually says ‘lie about a prostitution ring you’re running’.

Or, just pretend everything is OK, and the people who LIED on national TV repeatedly probably weren’t LYING about everything. So far, though, O’Keefe has had no wins in the courts.
