Not long after 9/11, the President addressed the country. It coincided with a FLyers preseason game, and when the speech started, the fans started chanted “Speech, speech” and the game was halted and the speech played on the big screens. Seven years later they booed the shit out of Sarah Palin when she dropped the first puck at a game!
