Senator Goldwater warned about inviting the Evangelicals into the party on the Senate floor in 1981, and then the GOP went further and courted the Tea Party thinking they could control them both.

Turns out that when a majority of a party’s voters have a different agenda than the party, they will take it over.

While death announcements of the GOP in the past have been premature, I think this might be the end for them.

I want to go to the morgue, pull out the drawer, see the tag on the toe, and make a visual before I believe that.
