My Bush derangement syndrome went pretty far. At the time I honestly thought the only reason he left office in 2009 according to normal processes is that having a GOP coup would be bad for business.

I bought into one conspiracy theory (which I still pretty much believe); that he was getting coached through an earpiece during the debate with Kerry.
