Truly the end is near. TV ad just now: healthcare reform will help businesses be competitive and prosperous. Paid for by SEIU, the AMA, and a half dozen other special interests.
When the AMA and SEIU are in bed together, we are well and truly scrod.

NOT TOTALLY INCORRECT. Socialized Medicine WILL make us more “Competitive” with other Industrialized Nations. It will ALSO Ration Medicine in a way that the US is NOT accustomed to - AND - will FREEZE the level of Medicine at Today’s Level - not too bad actually. One thing that I know is that - NO PROFIT = NO PROGRESS.
