I’ve even watched Little Shop of Horrors - the movie and the Broadway show. I wouldn’t want to wish tooth pain on anyone. It can be a real bitch.

Feel better, and definitely ask your dentist about the pain. As some others have pointed out, the pain could be a sign of an infection, or it could be a bone bruise from the extraction. In either case, your dentist/oral surgeon should have something to help with the pain.

I have a noon appointment to have the first fitting on my partials, I’m pointing this out before he tries to stick anything into my mouth. And if it’s something wrong with that “hole” I suspect he won’t be able to fit any partials until he fixes what ever is wrong with the extraction area.
