I love Maine Coon cats. So gorgeous! I really want one!

I have a general policy of adopting only adult cats, preferably from shelters, and especially shelters that kill cats after a wait period when they aren’t adopted.
The kittens will always find a home, but the best and most loving cats I’ve adopted were adult cats from shelters.

I hate going to shelters though, because I always want to take every animal home. So I’ll never have a Maine Coon cat or a Siamese or anything like that, even though I love them, because they get adopted or were specially bred and placed.

My mission at the shelter was to adopt a pair of littermates. I always wanted a Manx, and could not believe my luck when I saw one in a litter that hadn’t been cleared to go yet. I got him and his prettiest brother the next day.
