As expected, the timer of Herman Cain’s self-implosion is starting to tick a little faster.

If he were a professional politician with professional staffers, they would have had a contingency plan in place to deal with just such an eventuality (or inevitability).

If he and his people try to wing it through this one, it could seriously trip him up.
