Again, not true. I have worked for companies that have settled claims (Patent) that they knew were baseless. It was cheaper than going to court by millions of dollars.

Okay, Buck. Let me be clear.

A company will not settle a sexual harassment claim that they know to be baseless rather than go to court. Especially not when it involves a CEO and leaves him with the shadow of potential guilt hanging over him.

This has zero similarity to settling a patent dispute.
