Over at Balloon Juice I’ve been having a disagreement with one of the front pagers, mistermix. He thinks Greenwald/Snowden are sitting on proof of recent NSA abuses, and are just waiting for the right time to release them. I told him that was extremely unlikely (and stupid, because the lack of evidence of abuses is maybe the biggest reason why I don’t believe what Greenwald is spouting.)

The Heathrow puppet show convinces me he’s got no aces up his sleeve. He’s got no evidence of NSA abuses under Obama, so he’s trying to gin some up.
