Now I thought I recognized that cop. There was a Kevin Costner-Elijah Wood movie that Searcy was in that I liked as a kid. And lol at the guy comparing Nick Searcy to a guy like Bryan Cox who is one of the finest character actors of his generation. Searcy ain’t even B list. He’s C list.

IMO, Searcy did a pretty good job portraying Deke Slayton in From the Earth to the Moon (he was one of the few actors that was in most, if not all, of the twelve episodes, IIRC).

I really have to separate the art from the artist with him for that alone.
