Doesn’t matter if you fall into something sensible once. The fact that you’re batcrap insane, push obscene conspiracy theories, and otherwise seek to end democracy in America means you don’t ever get the benefit of doubt. Ever.

If the proposal is actually sensible, then I think it should be considered. If the GOP takes over, they will extend rules like that to cover anything that the Squad or the Progressive Caucus proposes.
