OT - at the end of the last thread and in reply to redstateredneck linking the TX legislature sovereignty reaffirmation I wrote to my state representatives.

Texas is considering reaffirming their sovereignty under article 10 of the United States Constitution.

“Affirming that the State of Texas claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government by the U.S. Constitution, serving notice to the federal government to cease and desist certain mandates, and providing that certain federal legislation be prohibited or repealed.”

Given the expansion of federal powers the current administration is proposing it may be warranted for the State of ___________ to send a message to Washington DC about who the government of the United States belongs too.

I appeal to you to consider this as a course of action for our State legislature. I appreciate your service to our state and my family.”
