Virginia’s big. That’s a lot of delegates. OTOH, they went very blue in 2008, which brings them down some, according to the Republicans’ odd rules. May be they made some of it up with the House last year.

Most of the Northern Tip of VA is made up of Federal employees or lobbyists, IIRC. If they can’t get enough signatures it’s because they didn’t want to.
