Also it kills dead any talk of a Constitutional Convention. You need 2/3 for it plus the Amendments need 2/3 of the states. So Constitutional Crazytown has been delayed for quite a while.

Also a big deal for this newly retired Fed-no cuts in Social Security or Federal Pensions for at least another 2 years. And even my state Medicaid is safe-I assume that the results elsewhere have scared Republicans, especially those having to face voters in a Presidential year.

All the concern trolling about investigating Trump is just that-Trump isn’t going to get more popular between now and 2020, and investigating him isn’t going to alienate more people than he’s already alienated.

The House is going to increase its margin as the 2 indicted Congresspeople are either forced to leave through incarceration or needing to spend that money on lawyers. I’m not going to even speculate how many decide to retire/resign rather than be in the minority.

Yeah I just read an article about the drive for a Constitutional Convention by the likes of ALEC (that’s an org that has kind of dropped off the radar but is still active).
