Laser eye holes, eh? hmmm…although that sounds really futuristic I doubt it’s much fun. If it’s not better in a few days I’ll go in. It takes a lot for me to voluntarily see a doctor but this might be serious enough to warrant it.

Why the reluctance to get it (or anything else) checked out? My motto is catch something before it gets worse so treatment is less expensive, probably less painful, and prognosis is better.
