Together with the degenerate Hunt clan, the Koch family practically created fascist conservatism as we know and loathe it today. Their old man, Fred Koch, was one of the founders of the John Birch Society.
At around the same time, the Hunts promoted a young model turned activist named Phyllis Schlafly into a nationalist firebrand. All the Hunts were notorious womanizers, incidentally. H.L. Hunt, the family patriarch, had 3 wives (two at the same time) and more than 20 children. The sons may have been worse, their porcine physicality notwithstanding. Hunt was a pillar of the First Baptist Church of Dallas (the largest in the world) and the leading contributor to Dallas’s Criswell Bible College. The Hunts were the “Texas billionaires” President Eisenhower called “stupid” for their opposition to social security.
