Just the fact that there is a ritualistic slaughtering procedure in general bugs me.

Never even gave it a second (or 1st, for that matter) thoght

Dad was a butcher by trade, back in the days when they would get the entire animal to break down. I always knew the cows, pigs, ect were killed somehow before they got to dad, so it didn’t bother me as to the “how”

SO,,, whats the difference between killing a cow in (lets say) a Chicago slaughterhouse (again, “back in the day”) for commercial distribution/ consumption OR “ritulalistic”ally according to Jewish and/or muslim tradition?
