Gotta wait for the participating agencies to get their ducks in a row.

I’m sure that the FBI, CIA and NY AG Scheiderman all realize that they’re only going to get one shot to take Trump down. Any slip-up, loophole or technicality that they miss will be used to discredit any evidence going forward, so they absolutely have to get it right.

They’re making sure the Ts are crossed and the Is are dotted (while minding their Ps and Qs at the same time, no doubt, heh).

When Schneiderman announces something, then it’s on. Until then - we wait.

The zeitgeist is certainly primed for believing such things.

Right-wing conspiracies to undermine our democracy were primary plot lines in the most recent season of “Homeland”, the currently on-going first season of “Designated Survivor”, the current seasons of “Scandal”, “Quantico” and “Blacklist”… even in “24”, where foreign jihadists were each season’s publicized bad guys, there was always a complicit cadre of high government officials without whom the foreign terrorists couldn’t possibly have advanced any of their plots.
