Thanks Uncle - but at this point after all this drama, if she wants to live her last days there and he sees nothing wrong with that either, whatever. I think its just as weird that the landlady is willing to have an old cripple and very sick woman “live” in a basement that doesn’t even have a kitchen.

It smells like Elder Abuse to me, I suggest that you report it ASAP!
