Welcome to the Donald Trump world. Where whatever he says and does doesn’t matter, and his supporters love him no matter what. Spew nonsensical ravings? Love him. Flip flop? Love him.
For instance, from 2014:
When will the U.S. stop sending $’s to our enemies, i.e. Mexico and others.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 10, 2014
Or, was he lying then and now? Because there’s no telling with what irrational @realDonaldTrump thinks/says/does. Only what’ll get press.

Mexico is the enemy? Really? Really puts his longstanding claims against Mexicans into stark relief doesn’t it.
It should. Because you don’t use terms like enemies when you’re talking about allies, trading partners, and friends. You could use rival, if you’re peaceful but at odds over various issues - words have meanings. But Trump doesn’t care about meanings - only that he uses the best words.
That’s dangerous as a president, because he’d just as soon as call Germany or France or Israel an enemy because reasons. He’s already said he’d trash our longstanding alliances and relationships (NATO), and everyone else is all like WTF Donny?
Trump is dangerous - to the point that many GOP foreign policy folks are openly opposed to Trump (but not on his bigoted, racist, white supremacist ties, only that he’s more likely to start a world war than be a responsible steward for the nation over the next four years).
