Southern Baptists aren’t small, and they spread a lot of antisemitism around. Take a look at that link.

I agree it is going to be seen as anti-semitic from the target side. But there is also an innocent impulse for evangelists: “I have the best thing in the universe, and I want to give it to you.”

(ex-Catholic here. Catholics are low-temperature evangelists, see a mission to convert everyone.)

Jews don’t engage in conversion, and it is hard to convey to a non-Jew just how amazingly offensive it is. Even when they’re not praying for us to be non-materialistic and claiming Jews don’t actually have faith anyway.
