For those concerned about Guadalupe County and the safety of those residing therein, please note - the incident was unusual, but, no harm no foul, and so it was let to drift.

In general, there’s almost no crime to speak of around here, save for a bit of mischief by bored youngsters. No graffiti that I’ve noticed, almost no vandalism, save by the high school, where one would expect it.

Odds are that any gunfire one would hear would either be from a range or from someone defending self and property.

Of course there’s no graffiti or vandalism, who would want to risk getting shot for that?
