As to the meaning of Top. In the hierarchy of rabble rousing preachers, ending up retired in a mansion, tax free since it is “donated” by the faithful, kind of sounds like the top of the category to me, but feel free to disagree.

I disagree entirely. Wright isn’t at the top of anything. He was publicly humiliated by the President of the US who remonstrated him and cast him aside. That isn’t being at the ‘top’ in any way, shape, or form.

In addition, he doesn’t have a multi-milllion dollar mansion, as you said, but a one million dollar mansion. I’m currently living in a three million dollar mansion (no, really, it’s a family property in SF that I somehow have to figure out how to pay inheritance taxes on, eventually). Am I at the top? Well, I am living in the attic, so I’m technically at the top.
