I’ve stopped watching football. After the concussion and brain injury business, there’s no reason to support the sport - if I want to watch, it’s with the knowledge that any single play can result in a lasting brain injury to any of the players on the field. Cumulative hits will relegate players to suffering from CTE or other ailments, aside from the rigors of assorted physical injuries that leave players maimed and hobbled.

That takes the fun out of watching. Now, it’s about watching highlights and hoping that the players for my favorite team aren’t getting hurt.
