I have an old photo from 1930 that my grandfather shot in Yellowstone. He put a candy bar on the window ledge of his car to attract a bear, and shot the image from about 40 feet away as the bear put his head in the window.
Not seen in the picture, my grandmother and father in the back seat, screaming.
They survived.
