In a related story - I read today on another blog that Whoopi Goldberg is a moon landing truther. Doesn’t surprise me.

Not surprised. With the progress being made (at last) in non-government space flight, we might well see a private colony on the Moon or perhaps an asteroid within our lifetimes; if not in mine then certainly within that of the younger Lizards. Idiots like Goldberg and her slack-jawed audience will be left behind, and deservedly so.
At rock bottom that is the whole idea of spaceflight in my mind, leave the semi-evolved sound-biters and consumer units to stew in their own self-created hell.
