Sure enough, defeatism is now official on the right. Pundit (and birther) Lou Dobbs has this petition on his site:

BRING OUR TROOPS HOME - We, the undersigned citizens of the United States of America, hereby petition the federal government to bring home all of our troops now deployed and stationed throughout the world.

This is being hyped at Free Republic as well.
