Well, Beck (or whoever handles twitter for him) would have had to have made that tweet a favorite, so it’s not the same as a blog comment.

OK - was the tweet favoritied because the comment was liked or do you favorite organizations who tweet to your account?

That makes a huge difference for me. I could find a great quote on self reliance and say I liked it then later find out it was from Mein Kampf without realizing the source. That wouldn’t make me a fan of Hitlers rantings.

I’m not defending Beck’s lack of judgement or institutional control in this case. I’m just curious as to how big a connection can really be made from this one incident?
