I have a close female friend who had a kid at 16. She took a job as a bartender on weekends to giver her an opportunity to earn some extra cash and have some fun on the weekends. Up until her child graduated HS she dated exactly one guy for one year. All her free time was wrapped around doing stuff with her son. I wish my brother had taken a few lessons from her.

There is a clinical term for people like that.
