I have a Saturn that’s paid off and just hit 100k miles. I need to keep it for as long as I can, while I manage other bills. Fortunate so far it hasn’t needed major repairs, although a recent brake job was pretty pricey. I’m putting much fewer miles on it for the past year since I started taking the bus to work. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I put 110K miles on the Saturn I had previous to the Subaru. Tendency in my family is to buy new and then drive the car for over a decade. I think my brother managed 200+k miles on a VW Jetta.

256,000 miles on a ‘99 Miata so far. I think the lug bolts are the only remaining original parts.

18 year old Honda with 119K here. The air died and it’s rattling a little bit, but still runs. My car repair bills are still much cheaper than new monthly payments and the higher insurance.

Added bonus: it’s a stick. I get 32 MPG local.
