Cause and effect is tricky. To me it is a large part of “our nation” that has brought Trump and all his crap upon us and who are the causes of most of the “damage” to which you refer. But certainly you are correct about the foolish self-divisiveness of the Dems and the left as a (w)hole.

I’ve felt this way since Obama got elected. I thought Obama’s election was going to be the start of something real special but it woke up some ugliness and the left either turned their back on him when things weren’t perfect or ran away from him when things got ugly. The left, we need to realize yeah we have some differences but liberalism to me is ultimately about making the world a better place for the successive generations. I hope we can do that for my niece.
