re: #450 BeachDem
And the hits just keep on coming:
Richard Cordray, one of the few remaining Obama-era banking regulators, said on Wednesday that he plans to step down as head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau by the end of the month, clearing the way for President Trump to remake a watchdog agency loathed by Republicans and Wall Street.
If he runs for and wins Ohio governorship, good for Ohio, but his leaving the CFPB opens up avenues for bad (read Republican wet dreams) in so many ways.
They were going to run him out anyway. So, good for Ohio. I’m very familiar with him and I am already in for backing him for governor.
I bet it ends up Richard Cordray versus Jon Husted.
