Clinton’s welfare reform? We all forgot about that I guess.

A 2 year program in which you enrolled in a class like accounting, a/c repair, bookkeeping. They give you food stamps, put your kids in daycare if needed, provide housing allowances, etc. After 2 years, you get no more gov benefit, but have to find a job. Employers that hire these people got tax cuts as an extra incentive. It WORKED in Florida, that I can tell you, to get people off gov care and into the workforce, provide them a skill.

Ahhh yes, Clinton’s famous Welfare Reform! Well, he did sign it, that is for sure. But, it should be called Newt Gingrich’s Welfare Reform…look it up.
